When hardwood covers a large, open space, particularly with high ceilings, sound in the room will echo. Area rugs become a great way to brighten and decorate the room while also improving the sound.

Large spaces with wide walls provide the opportunity to accent the room in a variety of ways. When it comes to putting the pieces together, furniture has to be considered.
